Veteran's Ranch

Our Mission at The Veterans Ranch

Serving Veterans through Equine Therapy

SERVING VETERANS SUFFERING FROM PTSD

Their Struggle

Too many Veterans are suffering from PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and are choosing to end their own lives.
We often hear the phrase “22 a day,” referring to the number of Veterans that commit suicide daily. Unfortunately, the number is climbing. We believe that any number is too high so in 2017, we formed The Veterans Ranch.

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist Veterans and their families through Equine Therapy, a range of treatments that involve activities with horses to promote human physical and mental health. We assist these great Americans and their families in laying down heavy coats of burden and walk away as newer and improved versions of themselves.

Our Vision

We want Veterans Ranches in every state across the nation.

How Common is PTSD in Veterans?

When you serve in the military, you may be exposed to different types of traumas than civilians. Even training accidents can cause trauma. When you are in the military, you may see combat. You may have been on missions that exposed you to horrible and life-threatening experiences. War zone deployment and factors in a combat situation can add more stress to an already stressful situation. This may contribute to PTSD and other mental health problems. These factors include what you do in the war, the politics around the war, where the war is fought, and the type of enemy you face. Training accidents and military sexual trauma (or, MST) may also lead to PTSD. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT PTSD!
