In a groundbreaking announcement that promises to transform veteran support services in Texas, The Veterans Ranch has unveiled ambitious plans for a $100 million expansion project that will establish at least five state-of-the-art facilities across the Lone Star State.
This unprecedented initiative, scheduled to unfold over the next five years, aims to create the largest veteran support network in Texas history, providing crucial services to veterans, active military personnel, Gold Star Families, and first responders.
“This expansion represents more than just buildings – it’s about creating a network of hope and healing across Texas,” says Pam Smith President / Owner of The Veterans Ranch. “With veteran suicide rates remaining critically high at 22 per day, the need for our services has never been more urgent.”
The expansion plan includes strategic location development with the Flagship Property being in North Texas. There will also be locations in East Texas, West Texas, South Texas, Central Texas, and possibly the Panhandle of Texas as well. Each facility will feature comprehensive service centers including professional equine therapy facilities, family support centers, Veteran transitional housing, educational facilities, community event spaces, as well as recreational areas.
This initiative is expected to generate over 1,000 new jobs, with priority hiring given to the Military Community, Gold Star Families and First Responders. “We believe highly in hiring people that served and will be serving their fellow brothers and sisters who served,” said J.R. Vice President of The Veterans Ranch. This economic stimulus will extend beyond direct employment, creating opportunities in facility operations, agricultural programs, therapeutic services, administrative positions, support services, as well as educational programs. “We are very excited for the opportunities that this expansion is going to create,” said Pam Smith, President / Owner of The Veterans Ranch.
This expansion will introduce cutting-edge programs including advanced equine therapy services, hydroponics and aquaponics training, family counseling services, and job training initiatives. The Veterans Ranch has partnered with Veterans Produce and Hire Heroes USA for some of these services. These are both Veteran non-profit organizations and The Veterans Ranch is very proud to be working hand in hand with them.
The Veterans Ranch’s partnership with NASCAR continues to play a crucial role in their growth, providing national exposure and fundraising opportunities through the XFINITY Series. Please reach out to The Veterans Ranch if you would like the opportunity to co-brand with The Veterans Ranch on select races that will put your business in from of millions of eyes on television, the patrons at the race, and all of the social media that The Veterans Ranch and the race team provides. There are still opportunities for Texas races so you need to reach out soon.
To support this ambitious expansion, The Veterans Ranch has launched a grassroots funding campaign, asking supporters to pledge $22 monthly – representing the 22 veterans lost daily to suicide. “For just 73 cents a day, supporters can help us save lives and keep families whole,” notes Pam.
Beyond serving veterans and first responders, these facilities will serve as community anchors, offering public events, educational programs, agricultural resources, and community gathering spaces. “The Veterans Ranch is looking forward to becoming a part of the communities that we have locations in,” said J.R. the Vice President of The Veterans Ranch.
The expansion includes comprehensive sustainability measures including solar power integration, and water conservation systems just to name a couple. These locations will show people how they can be more self sustainable, as well as eat better (farm to table). “This expansion isn’t just about building facilities – it’s about building hope,” says Kyle Wentworth, CTO & Board Member. “Each location will serve as a beacon of healing and support for those who’ve sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
The Veterans Ranch, established in 2017, has already demonstrated significant success with its existing programs. This expansion represents a major step forward in their mission to serve those who have served our nation.
