Beth King Advisory Board Member

My name is Beth King, and I am a Marine wife, caregiver, mother, and outspoken supporter of Veterans, First Responders, and their Caregivers.
Growing up, my father was in the U.S. Navy and my brother joined the Marines after graduating from high school. So, I have ALWAYS had love and respect for those who chose to serve our country. I met my husband at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2004 while doing volunteer work with the injured veterans there. Since we have been together, I have seen the struggles that veterans go through when trying to adjust back into the civilian world, and to adjust to both the physical and mental traumas that they have suffered from and are still suffering with. It is my passion to show undying support for our veterans, caregivers, and first responders and try to advocate for them to get the assistance they need in both their personal and family lives.
They have given so much for our country and our communities, it is only right that we do everything we can to give as much to and for them.
